Miss the color of the old green brick separator? Get a headache from the new, in-your-face orange color? But love the new gentler brick separator design, the Technic axle pusher? Fret no more, it turns out the 5508 LEGO Deluxe Brick Box set comes with a new 630 Brick Separator – in green, instead of the usual orange.
I was shopping for some generic parts for my LEGO Trains project(s) and bought this set. While the packaging shows the old green brick separator, later batches of this set apparently shipped with the new separator design, but in (very close to) the old color. Downside is, I don’t think there is any way to tell prior opening which separator you get.
