I have been briefly showcasing some LEGO accessories on this blog, including LEGO Ice Cube Tray and Salt & Pepper Set. Now it is time for something a little different, 853195 Brick Calendar – a desk calendar actually built with LEGO bricks.
The set includes a brick-built calendar (dual-sided, printed label pieces for each month) and two minifigures with accessories. To match weekdays with the dates and to display an accurate number of month days, the calendar needs to be re-built every month. Unfortunately the rows of the calendar are lined with 2×4 plates, which makes dismantling a bit of a chore – I imagine with longer plates taking the layers apart would be easier.
Still, a nice conversation piece for the office desk.
